10 The Glenvllle Democrat/ Pathfinder January 6, 1977 Reginald Turner, Julie Walling married in Texas Carol Reed, John Wolfe t " : Mr. and Mrs. John W. ]amison of Miss Juli Eileen Walling and Reginald Alan Turner exchanged marriage vows at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 24 at the First Baptist Cburch in Harker Heights, Tx. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Gerald Walling, 1210 S. 5th Street, Copperas Cove, Tx. The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. tInrless A. Turner'of Glenville, who celebrated their 22nd anniversary on their son's wedding day. The Rev. Rex Ponder was officiant for the formal, double ring ceremony, Miss Pare Bradley of Waco, TX was organist: Mrs. Randy Russell of Ft. Hood, T, pianist: and Miss Terry Webb of ,ustin TX soloist. Selections included "'We've Only' Just Begun," "One Hand. One Heart," "Wedding Song." and "'I Believe." "We'll Walk Wth God" was sung as the recessional. Two altar arrangements of white gl.dioli, carnations and chrysanthe- nmrns with Christmas greenery decorated the church. Seven branch candelabras with white candles, bows amt holiday greenery flaked the altar. Family pews were marked with white satin bows. The bride was given in marriage by her father and presented her mother a kiss and a rose on her way to the altar. The bride's gown was of champagne satin with a chapel train. Chantilly lace formed the high. shaped midriff, ruffles on the long chiffon sleeves and ruffle around the V-neckline. The gown was fashioned by a family friend, Mrs. Donald Fowler of Cibolo, TX. Her fingertip veil and headband were borrowed from the groom's sister, Mrs. John E. Edwards of Waipahu, Hawaii. The bride carried a colonial nosegay of white carnations, mums, baby's breath and holly. Her iewelry was an anitque brooch belonging to her maternal grand- mother and made into a necklace for the wedding. The round necklace featured gold leaves and tiny orchid stones. She also wore orchid earrings, a gift from the groom. Miss Maureen M. Ryan of Ft. Hood. TX was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Tina Lou tioward of Harker Heights, TX and Miss Dianna Fowler of Cibolo, TX. Flower girl was Miss Dianne Burchfield of Ft. Hood, TX. Gualberto D. Besinaiz of Corpus NOW OPEN!
