II I III I I I IIml A Sheep Short Course will be conducted for Mountain State farmers at the Randolph County 4-H Camp near Elkins, February 4-5. According to program coordinator D.A. Hutchison, the Short Course "is open to anyone interested in the sheep industry. Hutchison is Extension animal husbandry specialist for West Virginia University. Speakers and resource persons on Monday, February 4 will include Dr. Keith Inskeep, WVU professor of Animal Science; professor George Allen of Virginia Polytechnic Institute: Dr. Dale Zinn. Dean of the College of Agriculture and Forestry: Dr. AI Barr, chairman. WVU Animal Science Division: professor Charles Parker, Ohio State University; and John Hyde, president of the West Virginia Sheep Industry Development Association. Tuesday's speakers include Joe Emch, WVU Extension animal hus- bandry specialist; professor Alien, and Dr. Frank Woodson, director. WVU Allegheny Highlands Project. Inskeep will discuss "Sheep Research at VVVU"; Dean Zinn will talk on the "'Outlook for West Virginia Agriculture." Emch will discuss "Marketing Wool in West Virginia." and Allen's talk on Tuesday will be on "'Sheep Nutrition," Dr. Woodson's talk will be on "'Parasite Control." The West Virginia Conference teams tied the lead a half dozen times in the first half before Tech was able to lead at intermission, 34-31. GSC, who outgoaled the Bears 27-25, was led in scoring by freshman Roger Dingey with 24 points. Randy Datcher put in 18 and Tom Coates 12.
