KAYLA RICHARDS GOING FOR A LAYUP Happy Valentine's Day Celebrate it with us[ JESSICA MONTGOMERY MAGGIE LILLY SHOOTS A THREE Lady Titans Play Hard Team Ball to Get Big Win Over Lady Panthers, Look For a Win Against Calhoun Monday On Friday, Feb. 6. the Lady Titan basketball team hosted the Lady Eagles of Braxton County. Despite working hard. the ladies were outplayed by a much taller team. los- ing 67-45. Individually, statistics for the 8-7 Lady Titans are as follows: Olivia Somerville went one for two at the foul line and scored one point. Jessica Montgomery had two rebounds, went one for two at the foul line. and scored five points. Courtney Beall had two rebounds and four points, and Megan Normant had two rebounds, went one for two at the foul line. and scored five points. High scorers for this game were Butcher with 10 points, and Jenny Wolfe with eight points. Lilly also had four rebounds and went two for three from the foul line. Butcher had three rebounds and went three for four from the foul line. Wolfe had three rebounds and went one for six from the foul line. The Lady Titans went back to work on Saturday against the Clay Lady Panthers. This time, they were really ready to work, and with great passes and excellent team work, the ladies blew Clay away, winning 81-50. Individually, Jessica Montgomery had four rebounds and eight points, Hannah DeMarino had one rebound and two points. Jenny Wolfe had two line and scored six points. Courtney Beall had one rebound, went two for two from the foul line, and scored four points, Lindsey Robinson had one rebound and two points, and Megan Normant had two rebounds, went two for two from the foul line, and scored six points. High scorers were Catherine Butcher with 22 points and Brittany Blake with 18 points. Butcher also had eight rebounds and went two for three from the foul line. Blake had seven rebounds and went one for two from the foul line. The ladies hosted Calhoun on Mon- day. Mor- gan Allen'scored 10 point s, had seven rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal, Larisa Gordon scored two points, had three rebounds, one assist, and four steals; Jessica Jones had one assist, Asia Mann had two rebounds and two steals; Tristan Toman had 12 points, one rebound, one assist, and eight steals, Tiffany Young had 15 points, four rebounds, two assists, and seven steals. On December 4, the ladies hosted Calhoun, winning 38-32. Morgan Allen scored 20,points, had three re- bounds and one steal, Tara Evans had two rebounds and two assists; Larisa Gordon had four points, three re- bounds, and one assist, Michaela , Gumm had two points and two re- bounds, Christina Jenkins had two points and one rebound, Jessica Jones had one rebound and one assist, Asia Mann had two points and four re- bounds, Hannah Roberts had one re- bound, one assist and three steals; Alexus Sprouse had two steals, Bree Wolfe had four points, one rebound, one assist, and four steals. Tiffany Young had four points, two rebounds, six assists, and six steals. On December 9, the Mini Titans traveled to Spencer. winning 45-15. Morgan Allen scored ten points, six rebounds, and two steals. Julie Bishop scored eight points, one rebound, two assists, and one steal. Larisa Gordon had five points, two rebounds, and four steals. Christina Jenkins had two points, Jessica Jones had three re- bounds, one assist and one steal. Asia Mann had six rebounds and one steal. Abby Richardson had two rebounds.
