Easy Orchard Cobbler resembles a deep dish pie with a biscuit topping instead of crust. By combining cherry pie filling with peaches in syrup, the con- tents need no additional sugar - an important consideration with today's inflated prices. Orange drop biscuits dot the cobbler pro- viding contrast in both flavor and texture, Quick to prepare, Easy Orchard Cobbler is a welcome finale at any meat. With self-rising flour there's less fuss. Salt and leavening are already added, so you can whip up biscuits in a jiffy. Deserving of praise, too, is the fact that three essential B-vitamins -- niacin, thiamine and riboflavin - and two important minerals, calcium and iron, are in all products made from enriched self- rising flour. Orchard Cobbler one 2-quart cobbler 1 can (I lb. 5 oz.) cherry pie filling 1 can (1 lb. 14 oz.) peach slices, drained, reserving juice ~A cup slivered almonds Combine pie filling, peaches, 1 cup peach juice and almonds in a 2-quart baking dish. Administrators of the college have decided the station must be eliminated because of "the higher cost of utilities and inflation." Almost advertisement free, the station employs six full-tLme staff members and has 40 students working on a volunteer basis. It has been operating since September. 1968, and features a broad spectrum of programming such as classical and pop music, and various public interest and variety shows, including news and interpretive news features. If alternate sources of funding can be found, the station will continue broadcasting, station spokesman said. One proposal to be put before the school's board of trustees at a March 20 meeting is that the station be offered to the West Virginia Educatioul Broadcasting Authority, the spokes- man said.
