Robert Jones is holding prayer service and Bible study each Wednesday night at 7:30 at the Cox's Mills United Methodist Church. Everyone is welcome. Reba and Irene Ware were visiting a cousin, Mrs. Gal Woodson of Good Hope on Wednesday March 24, who visited Mr. and Mrs. Berkley Elder of Jane Lew. elite Bennett who has been ill for a few years, and is staying at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eldridge Lamb of Cox's Mills, suffered a stroke Tuesday March 23 and is in the hospital at Grantsville. She is the mother of Billy Bennett. Mrs. Lessie Adams was at Salem, W. Va. on Saturday, March 2Oth to attend the wedding of her grand- daughter Cindy Adams. daughter of Mr. and Mr,,;. Eugene Adams. Tom Shacktef(rd and son Mickie were visiting Toots Shackleford. Mary Tailhamer and Murel Lamb were recent shoppers in Weston. Mr. and Mrs. Lanta Radcliff visited relatives in Parkersburg on Saturday. Mrs. Gertrude Smith, Pete and Bob, spent the weekend in Ohio. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Radchff and children were visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Matthew Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Junior Barbarow from Pakersburg and Donald Barba- row from Riplay visited their mother, Mrs. Nellie Barbarow, over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Ruppert visited his mother, Mrs. Eula Ruppert in West Union Sunday afternoon. Miss Linda Cox visited Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hinter on Wednesday of last week. Recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Flaherty were Mr. and Mrs. Duane Burton of Parkersburg and Gary Burton of West Union. Mrs. Betty Cole and Connie visited their aunt, Floda Chaney, at the Burkhammer Nursing Home in Weston on Saturday. Local Youth attend Baptist ConFess Five members of the BalStist Youth Fellowship, First Baptist Church, attended the regional Junior High Congress at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Parkersburg. March 26 and 27. The Theme of the Congress was "Get it together." The Bible study centered around Paul's writing to the Philippian Christians which said, "For me to live is Christ." The young people served in several workshops which were aimed at improving their local meetings. Attending from Glenville were Kelly Davis, Myra Chico, Mark Farnsworth, Willy Furr, and Jeff Campbell.
