Hitting for Gilmer was Josh Bur- ton, who went two-for-four from the plate, hitting a triple, Devn Cottrill with an RBI, and Ian Morris with a double and two RBIs. Devin Cottrill pitched against Brax- ton County, striking out eight batters. Relief pitchers were Ian Morris, who had one strike-out and Josh Burton. The team went back to play the next day, hosting St. Marys. The teams played hard, putting the game into an extra inning. St. Marys went on to win the game, scoring six runs in the extra inning to put the final score at 13-7. Hitting for the Titans were Daniel Dulude with a triple; Josh Burton, who went two-for-four at the plate, hit two homeruns, and had three RBIs; Devin Cottrill, who went three-for- four at the plate, hit a double, and had one RBI; and Cody James with an RBI. Pitching against St. Marys was Daniel Dulude, who had four strike- . outs. Relief pitchers for Dulude were Luke Montgomery, who had two strike-outs and Jacob Wolfe, who had one strike-out. Gilmer was back to the field yet again on Wednesday, playing at Wirt County. The Titans were able to re- deem themselves from the previous days' losses, winning 4-2 against the Tigers. Contributing to the team's win were Josh Burton, who went one-for-three at the plate, hit a double, and had one RBI; Daniel Dulude, who went two- for-four at the plate, had one run, and hit a double; and Jacob Wolfe, who went one-for-four at the plate and hit a double. The winning pitcher for the game was Stephen Carter, who had five strike-outs. Relief pitcher was Jacob Wolfe, who had two strike-outs. The team was scheduled to play in the Sue Morris Sports Complex Base- ball and Softball Tournament on Fri- day and Saturday, but the games were rained out. The Titans went back to play on Monday at South Harrison and Tues- day against Parkersburg Catholic.
