Thu ( LINING UP FOR LADY PIONEERS -- On Thurs., Mar. 20, the Moose Club of Glenville spearheaded a Testimonial Dinner at the Gilmer County Recreation Center, so that the community could honor the Glenville State College Lady Pioneers. The GSC girls' team sported a season's record of 29-4, kept its 53-game home court winning streak intact, won the West Virginia state college conference's championship tourney, and advanced to the NCAA East Regional finals before falling to champion California University of Pennsylvania, 76-67. For their superior effort and sportsmanship this season, over 250 local people came out to honor them at the community dinner, lining up to get their tasty dinners catered by the Rec Center.
