B-8 The Glenville Democrat/Pathfinder # May 6, 1976 Titans place 5th in LKC tourney The Gilmer County High School track team wound up the LKC Track :,ind Field Championship Saturday, ! May 1, with a 52 point, fifth place finish in the field. The Titan's only first place finish U was a "down to the wire" finish in the t mile relay. County schools attend Math Day The 4th annual Math Field Day was held Wednesday, April 28th in SummersviUe, Nicholas County. Parti- cipants were from grades four through nine and represented Braxton, Gilmer, Harrison, Webster, Nicholas, Upshur and Lewis Counties. Though chilly, the students enjoyed their day of vying for top places in areas of Mental Math, estimations, Centgee, and a written examination. Ninth graders also played Algebra Bingo.
