4 The Glenville Democrat/Pathfinder ill i West Liberty rolled to an un- precedented sixth straight win Sunday in the West Virginia Con- ference track championship held in Glenviile Saturday and Sunday. The Hilltoppers totaled 137 points to win the two-day event. W.Va. Wesleyan placed second with 119 points, followed by W.Va. State with 1161/2 points; Glenville, 741/2; Salem, 59; Fairmont, 31; W.Va. Tech, 13; and Concord, 6. Salem's Ted White scored 32 points and was named outstanding player of the meet. White placed first in the 400 meters, 2nd in the triple and long jumps and 3rd in the 200 meters. Bob Brane of W.Va. Wesleyan was named coach of the year in WVC track. For the all-conference team, the league chose the first place finisher in each of the 18 events.
