Our firm conviction and the conviction of a majority of I have asked, that registering and or taking away million gun owners, as by con- crime in this : not New York, in fact it has Increased. This indicates law are defenseless and at the mercy of armed W : has the crime of any the world. It's people are taught to use guns at an and it's people are encouraged to own guns. : Our present laws restrict the sale of guns to and state that criminals cannot purchase guns, but that criminals can acquire Illegally at any : I am a gun dealer and under the our own Policeman his service revolver because he was not twenty-one This was very embarrassing for me and the police. LE: A veteran of the Vietnam war twenty years old purchased a .22 caliber rifle from me and I could m shells for it. is the law: .22 caliber shells are classed as pistol ammo and cannot be sold to I veteran any high power rifle he wanted and all the amm0 he it. How can this country justify drafting an man - giving him a rifle and a pistol and training him in their use - and sending him to Vietnam to kill or killed - telling him he comes country that he cannot have a pistol or revolver to protect his home? We are still of the firm conviction that takin or further restricting firearms use by sixty mi citizens crime- it can only abidin l citizen helpless and unprotected from the criminal. criminal is not law abiding and he will have a un if and it. like Amendment, passing a law that forbids law abiding citizen8 from having any guns will automatically make twenty-five percent of gun owners, as they will not surrender their revolvers or pistols. Why listen tea small minority of people who are fanatlcJ, wishful thinking, misinformed, and Influenced b propoganda enough to be so short-sighted as to p weaken our so can criminal? our citizens also weakens our country enough to let it be taken over by an armed minority. We had better begin now to fight to keep our guns or we will end up fighting against guns with rocks or clubs. 20515 to any gun legislation that restricts my to own arms, titles, shotguns, pistols and protection of my home and my country. that restricting or taking away any kind of million law abiding gun owners would reduce to drafting 18-year-old men. training them in sending them to Viet Nam to kill or them when they come home they cannot revolver to protect their home and country.
