ZZ REPORTING STRONG RESULTS EVEN DURING RECESSION--AshokTrivedi (I-r) and Sunil Wadhwani, natives of India, came to America over two decades ago, establishing Mastech and, later, i-Gate Capital, companies dealing with IT and business solutions, among other offerings, for its customers. The co-chairs have seen the two companies grow from 80 employees in the mid-1990s to over 6,200 employees today, serving Fortune 1000 firms all around the world. Based in Pittsburgh, they held the Mastech Annual Stockholders' meeting on Thurs., May 14 at that. city's Airport Sheraton Hotel. They reported a strong performance for Mastech in spite of the national and international recessions. Hence, they are truly living out the "American Dream," and that shows that when one has that entrepreneurial spirit and technical knowledge, the sky is the limit. (This newspaper publisher has, personally, known the sociable pair, since the late 1990s and admires them greatly for their vision and hard work. DHC, Sr., Publisher-Editor) BLOOD DRIVE BROUGHT TO GILMER COUNTY -- Bringing the American Red Cross' Bloodmobile to Glenville's Trinity United Methodist Church on Wed. afternoon, May 13 was this blood collection team from the Morgantown area. The unit's employees, always happyto be of service to humankind, via helping citizens to donate pints of blood, are from left to right (front): Leann Simmons, Tammy Gauder, Peggy Lorentz; (back row) Pam Hamilton and Ed Posten. They collected 19 pints of blood in Glenville on that day, with the low number being attributed to Glenville State College being shutdown until the summer term begins.
