Students and teachers Monday marked the end of the school year with a field day. After the last egg was tossed, and broken, and the last three-legged sack race run, participants agreed they saw the year out in style. All Gilmer County elementary schools conducted graduation ceremonies and awards assemblies at the beginning of this week.
