For many, it is the only visit to this small town they will make all year. Those guest miss the exciting sports scene that keeps Titan and Pioneer fans on edge throughout the year. If you are one of those annual visitors, this is for you. For almost a decade now, I have made it a tradition to treat the yearly Folk Festival visitors to a review of the past year's top highlights. This year is no different. The Pioneer and Titan athletic teams and programs had some awe- some moments in 2015-2016. With barely a week to plan, the GCHS National Honor So- ciety recognized the value of this annual event and decided to take the planning into their own hands. Thank them for these efforts by attending and participating. Registration will take place at the park on Main St. from 7:00 a.m.:8:00 a.m. The race will begin at 8:30 a.m., and it will follow the traditional Glen- viUe 5K route. Cost for registration will be $20 per racer with the first 50 to register receiving a race shirt! The top overall male and fe- male will be recognized as well as the top three runners in each age category.
