The City Council of Glenville recently appointed Clifford L. Manley to the city police department with the rank of patrolman. Manley, 20, a recent graduate of Glenville State College with an Associate in Science degree, joins Sgts. Denzil Runyon and Dallas Goodrich. He was deputized during the W.Va. State Folk Festival and decided to remain as a permanent member of the department, according to Mayor Delbert L. Davidson.
