It will he an all-day meeting with lunch served at noon and supper at 5:30 p.m. The evening services will start at 7 p.m. with the Rev. John Wanamaker, area minister, as the featured speaker. Harold L. Scott, Moderator, will preside. Also speaking will be Dr. P. Victor Premasager, principal of Andhra Christian Theological College in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. He will speak on Christian ministry and theological education in India. Maurice Phillips, Administrator of the World Mission Support in Parkersburg will present a slide show on the worldwide mission. Beulah Courtney returned home Saturday, July 31 after spending a month in Goldsboro, N.C. visiting her son and family Sgt. and Mrs. Wayne Mencer and Amy. She was accompan- ied on the return trip by her son and family. Mr. and Mrs. William S. Smith of Waycross, Ga. were visiting in Glenville, Thursday, Aug. 5. Carlos Deulley. a former Gilmer County resident is a patient in the V. A. Center at Bay Pines, Fla. and would enjoy hearing from friends and relatives. His address is: A.V. Center, Room 308 Bed 12 A, 22-4 North, Bay Pines, Fla. 33504. Barbara Ward, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Max Ward of Glenville and Washington, D. C., recently completed an eleven-month fellowship at the Toledo {Ohio) Museum of Art. She will begin graduate studies in art history this fall at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. Ms. Ward is a 1975 graduat of Oberlin College, and was graduated in 1971 from Gilmer County High School. Mr. Sull Hardman celebrated his 75th birthday August 5. His daughter, Pauline and a friend from Amherst, Ohio visited him August 4-6.
