David VanHorn marries i lowa girl Miss Linda Sue Jones, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Gary L. Jones of Ottumwa, Iowa and David P. VanHorn, son of Mr. and Mrs. A.D. VanHorn, Sissonville were married in Ottumwa, Iowa on July 23. Attending the bride were the Misses Lori Lippert and Jennifer Booker. Steve Losh and A.D. VanHorn were groomsmen and Rex Jones and David Phillips were ushers. Flower girls were Peggy and Amy Phillips. A program of nuptial music was given by Mrs. Bertha Wisdom, organist, with Mrs. Cathy Glosser and Kris Reed as soloist. The bride is a graduate of Ottumwa High School and Tennessee Temple College in Chattanooga, Tenn. She will be employed as a secretary in Chattanooga. Mr. VanHorn is a graduate of Sissonville High School and is a junior at Tennessee Temple College. He is August 26, 1976 Karen Cox of Troy marries of Danville, brother of the bride officiated. The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted to the alter by her father. The bride wore a floor length white gown with lace trimming and matching veil. A bouquet of miniature white carnations and two roses, which ware given to the mothers of the hride and groom, was carried by the bride upon a white bible. Miss Linda Cox, served as maid of honor. Avon Cox, brother of the bride served as best man. Ushers were Clyde Cox, Roger Cox, brothers of the bride. Miss Brenda Beech, daughter of the groom attended the guest book. "Redeeming Love", "Because He Lives", "Hawaiian Wedding Sor", "We've Only Just Begun and the "Wedding March", was played by Mrs. Beverly Cox, sister-in-law of the bride. Miss Beth Beech, daughter of the groom, sang the Lord's Prayer, accompanied by Mr. Paul Jones of Avon Lake, Ohio. A reception was held in the church basement immediately follow- ing the ceremony.
