The National Players touring company will present "The Boys from Syracuse" on Tuesday. September 20 at 8 p.m. in the Clenvi|le State College Auditorium as :the first major cultural affairs program of the year. Based on Shakespeare's "Comedy of Errors." this Rodgers and Hart musical has been delighting audiences since 1938. Its plot turns on mistaken identities and farcical situations that TO APPEAR AT GSC--Carolyn Swift Jones [left], Shirley Bonnell [center] and Patricia Flynn are the ancient Greek version of the Andrews Sisters when they perform "Sing for Your Supper" in the National Players production of "The Boys from Syracuse." date all the way back to Roman playwright Plautus. The National Players' production is vivacious and lively from the orchestral overture to the final chorus number. A cast of some two dozen will dance and sing its way through the intricacies of the action, which occurs in ancient Ephesus and involves two sets of twins, a duke, a sorcerer, and asserted slaves and courtesans.
