New computer lab opens for Glenville State College students and community Glenville State College Interim President Robert Freeman cut the ceremonial ribbon of CAT 6 cable during the official opening of a new computer lab at GSC on Wednesday, September 17. The new lab, located in Louis Ben- nett Hall on the campus of GSC, is now open and available to everyone in the GSC community, continuing the College's dedication to both its students and the community. Larry Baker, Associate Vice Presi- dent of Technology and Dr. Kathy Butler, Interim Vice President for Academic Affairs, assisted Freeman during the opening of the lab, which was funded through a Fund for the Improvement of Post Secondary Edu- cation (FIPSE) grant. The grant was secured through the support of Con- gressman Alan B. Mollohan, D- W.Va. Containing 32 Dell computers with Intel Pentium 4 processors and 15" flatscreen monitors, this new lab creates an additional technology learn- ing environment on the campus of GSC.
