He was born in Calhoun County, son of the late Seymour and Victoria Channels Suttle. He is survived by his widow Prone Mac Lambert Suttle; one son, Paul Suttle, of Huntington; four daughters, Mrs. Susan Perry, of Huntington, Mrs. Mary Roberts, of Reddy, Mrs Helen Edman, of Tanner, and Mrs. Joarm Maze, of Huntington. He was preceded in death by a son, William Suttle. He has one brother, Otho Suttle, of Stumptown, Gilmer County. Services were held Tuesday Sept. 28 at Chapmans Mortuary in Huntington, with Roy. Leslie Call Officiating and burial was in the Baylous Cementery in Huntington. Meda McCartney Meda McCartney died September 7 at St. Joseph Hospital in Parkersburg after several months illness. She was born in Perkins on February 9, 1901. She was the daughter of the late Henson and Tamey Wyer McCarh3ey. She was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Services were held Sept. 10 at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Carmel Church by the Elder Charles Fisher. Burial was in the church cemetery. Edna Belle Ellison Mrs. Edna Belle Ellison, 80, of Glenville, died at 6 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28 at the Calhoun County General Hospital. She was born at Weston, on Feb. 2, 1696, a daughter of the late Joseph and Nancy Greathouse Hawkins. She was a retired housekeeper, at the Conrad Hotel in Glenville and a member of the College Street Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, William of Elyria, OH., and Guy of Akron, OH., two daughters, Mrs, Stella Hearns of St. Cloud, Fla., and Mrs. Josephine Desk of Virginia; 27 grandchildren and serveal greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Marshall Ellison; two sons, two daughters+ five hrothers and three sisters. Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 30 at the Spurgeon Mortuary in Glenville. Roy. Everett Mills officiated, with burial in the Heiney Cemetery. Elder Roy J. Conrad Elder Roy ]. Conrad, 75, a Baptist minister of Perkins, died Thursday, September 23, at the Calhoun County General Hospital in Grantsville.
