Zion, WV Charolais Cattle The Gienvtllo Dem rat-PstMinder 15 Sale to be held November 1 0 Entries are still being ac- cepted for the annual Charolais Cattle Sale, Satur- day, November 10, Jack Pursley, Sandyville, president of the West Virginia Charolais Association, has announced. The sale will be held at Jackson's Mill with Col. John Spiker, Weston, as auctioneer. Arrangements to enter cat- tle can be made through Presi- dent Pursley, Col. Spiker, or Steve Hickman, Waverly, sale chairman. More than 50 head of bulls and females, some with calves at side have been assured the sale planners. At a banquet Friday, November 9 in the Jackson's Mill 4-H Camp dining room, Secretary of State A. James Manchin, will be the after- dinner speaker. All cattle breeders are invited to attend that affair as well as the November 10 sale, for Charolais are recognized as stock that cross-breed effec- tively with other breeds raised in the West Virginia area. Banquet reservations may be made through Forrest Clark, Rt. 1, Box 443, Mt. Clare, telephone (304) 623-5237. Adult price of the banquet is $5.
