TURN AND BURN- Kristi Steele riding Billy Bubba Bayou making a quick turn in route to a second place finish in the Youth Barrels. t i / The Central WV Riding Club held it's last show of the season on Saturday, Oct. 9. The judge for the event was Barbie Rader of Sutton. There will be a banquet held on Nov. 13 to honor all the partici- pants of the 2004 season. Gilmer County had representa- tion from six girls ages 11-17 in the show and all did exceptionally well. They were Kourtney Beall, Kara Meadows, Jenniffer Minney, Jodie Parsons, Amy Shamblin, and Kristi Steele. Braxton won last year's meeting between the two teams by a score of 46-13.However, Gilmer will be heading into the game fresh after a bye week.
