A baby shower was given for Linda Goodrich at the home of her grandmother, Mrs. Mary Moss, Saturday night Oct. 9. Mrs. Bessie Greenleaf was recently taken to Stonewall Jackson Hospital for emergency treatment. She was released the same day. CONGRATULATIONS to Becky BeaU! (former student at Normantown}. She was recently elected as a freshman cheerleader at Gflmer County High School. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wendall Beall of Cedarville. VOTE "YES" for the school bond on Nov. 2. Save our school at Normantown. John Landis and son. Kenny, and Mark Summers of Lockney traveled to the Elkins area Sunday, Oct. 10. Marsha Reed and Junior Dobbins of Grafton, Ohio recently visited the Harlen Alltop family and relatives in The Second Annual Upper and Lower Spruce Run school reunion was held Sept. 5 at the Cedar Creek State Park. The president is Mrs. Mary Harvey, secretary is Mrs. Pearl Knight and the treasurer is Mrs. Gay|and Vanhorn. In attendance were Mr. and Mrs. Bryon Rinehart, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Knight, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Parkurst of Baltimore, Md., Mr. and Mrs. Gaylord Vanhorn, Mr. and Mrs. Roduey Reed, Mr. and Mrs. Okay C. Savoy, of Charleston, Mr. and Mrs. Holmes of Ohio, Edith Sannders of Weston, Mr. and Mrs. Claude McVaney, Sieve McCartney, Mr. and Mrs. Fontz McCartney of Charleston, Dick Kelly, Mrs, Pearl Kelly Rhoades, Nancy Stalnaker of Weston, Fred McCartney, Mr. Thurman Rhoades and Floda Criss all of Clarksburg, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Miller of Ohio, Annie Mowery and Hazle Miller Moore. The next school reunion will be held Sept. 4, 1977 at the Cedar Creek State Park.
