Childbirth classes offered in Ritchie Is you baby due around the end of December? If O,you may be interested in Prepared Childbirth classes now being offered in the Harrisville - Pennsboro area. There will be seven classes, beginning the second week in November and continuing through late December. Prepared Childbirth Classes give both the father and mother an opportunity to find out what will happen during the birth process. You will be shown exercises and breathing techniques to enable you to actively participate in the birth of your child. Information is also included on nutrition for the mother and baby, getting back into shape after the baby is born, hospital procedures and what to expect at the different hospitals serving the area, breastfeeding, and personal contact with other local mothers who have been through Prepared Childbirth classes. Prepared Childbirth classes are offerred in cooperation with the Rural Childbirth and Parenting Alternatives Group based in Ritchie County and affiliated with the International Childbirth Education Association.
