BONFIRE ON HALLOWEEN --- Ghost stories may have been a chief conversational topic among Kim and Tim Fulmer, of College Street, their Black Labrador, "Bennie," and other neighborhood friends on Halloween night. The chilly breeze was tempered by a large bonfire, near which they were resting and enjoying the festive occasion. (Sta# photos by Dave Corcoran, Sr.) CAMDEN NEIGHBORHOOD DECORATIONS -- Once again, Camden Flats in Glenville was the site for many elaborately and colorfully decorated houses for the Halloween season. Here at 401 Chades Street, Mrs. Pat Clutter (second from left) welcomes the little "Trick or Treaters" at her and her husband's home for the Community Neighborhood Celebration on Thurs. evening, Oct. 30, She's assisted by Nancy Minney (far left), as she lights up the following Trick or Treaters with candy: Trent (I.r)(football suit) and Morgan McPherson and their friend, Andrea Saucerman. Commenting further, Pat Clutter relates that she has always enjoyed decorating for Halloween at their home. | PRETTY KITTY (NOT) SCARY -- Although Halloween is certainly the right night for ghostly cats to be out scaring unsuspecting people, that didn't happen when Kindra (I-r) and Brook Turner dressed the family's cat, "Crookshanks," in a witch's costume for the occasion. This was one of the cuter trios making the rounds during the neighborhood Trick or Treat hours on that Thursday evening. And, Crookshanks seemed to enjoy the attention and festivities, too. THE NIGHT WATCH --- Helping to slow down the traffic at the corner of Whiting and Sheridan Streets at Camden Flats were these Gilmer County Fire Department volunteers and a few of their friends who stopped by to say, "Hello!" From right to left are Tiffany Isenhart, Fire Chief Kevin Wiant, Jean isenhart, Brian Peggs, Richard Dorsey, Eric Rogucki and Jason Bailey. They performed well as a "Ni.aht Watch" team, as several hundred vehicles filled with Tricl -or Treaters drove into the western Glenville neighborhood.
